Porchfield

A small hamlet between Cowes and Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, Porchfield lies among flat green fields and copses. The village post office is open two mornings per week.

The Sportsmans Rest is the popular village pub which serves great food and also has a small childrens' play area. Nearby is Colemans Animal Farm, a great place to entertain the kids.

There are two good walks from the village; the first starts opposite the pub where there is a lane leading down to a farmyard and on to the shoreline, a lovely walk at any time of the year. The second walk leads off the main road from Porchfield to Cowes and takes you on the Coastal path to West Cowes.
